How long is your commute from the Hwy 92/Woodstock area to Perimeter?

Might have an opportunity in that area and am curious about the commute. Mapquest says 38 minutes regardless of which way you go. I assume that means about 1 hour with traffic.

  • I don't currently make that drive, but I've done it before (from Bells Ferry Exit on 575), and it takes me about what MapQuest said during the day/weekends. During rush hour, that is going WITH the flow of traffic and it will be an hour, easy.

  • Cool, 1 hour I can do. I do it now. Anything more and I won't survive :)

  • I used to do this drive too. It's 40 min with no traffic and on trafficky days it can take 1.5 to 2 hours just fair warning. Also depends on where in woodstock, and where in the perimeter. I was off of Sixes road going to Abernathy.

  • My sister makes this trek. She takes 92 eastbound to the GA400S entrance and then heads down.

I don't know if that's easier or better than I-75S to I285E <--- that would be the route I'd take but I hate the Autobahn 400. Confused

  • I think it would all depend on how far down 92 you're starting from. If closer to Roswell-ish, then 92 to 400. If closer to Kennesaw/Marietta-ish, 575 to 75 to 285.

We live in Woodstock, but off of Towne Lake, very near 575. We always take the 575 route to get just about everywhere (unless it's off of Hwy 92, of course). Hwy 92 has a freaking ton of lights.
