What's for Lunch?
It's Tuesday, which means I'm home alone for dinner (Phil is at class), and I'm in need of inspiration - and something different from dinner!
For lunch I had:
grilled cheese (sheep's milk) sandwich
cherries & grapes
but I'd rather not repeat that again at dinner time!

That bean salad sounds delish!
I'm doing a 3 week kick-start-your-metabolism meal plan from Oxygen so I'm eating the same thing for 7 days straight this week. Boo....but I'll feel better when I'm done.
Lunch is 4 oz grilled chicken breast, half cup brown rice and at least 1 cup of summer squash.
Dinner is 6 oz fish, 3 cups salad (with white balsamic vinegar), 1 cup zucchini, and 1 cup asparagus.
Boring, I know.
I'm having a boring salad again today for lunch. I haven't gone grocery shopping in 2 weeks, ACK!
Whenever I'm alone for dinner, I always make a pasta dish of some kind because MH is not much of a pasta eater and I can never get enough of it.
Your grilled cheese sandwich sounds tasty thought
And lelekay, I'm jealous you have a Trader Joes! I miss not having it around and yes, their pizza dough is delish...amongst everything else in that place

What is Trader Joe's? I don't think we have it in Toronto...
The bean salad was very tasty. I highly recommend it!

Yes, I can put seasonings and herbs on the veggies, just not too much salt.
Trader Joe's is a specialty grocery store - small and inexpensive. I love it, but it's always so damned crowded that I hate going.
