WTF Wed.

W(hy)TF am I still hungry after I've eaten the same amount as I did yesterday and I wasn't even hungry when I went to lunch?

WTF, my head has had a looming headache seeminly just waiting to pounce. I can only feel sympathy for those of you who deal with constant headaches/migranes and I hope that you feel better soon.

WTF, my yummy and fresh blueberries are not so yummy today. Sad

Re: WTF Wed.

  • WTF have I decided not to go above and beyond the call of the duty in my job now? I have always been a really hard worker (still am) and am willing to work later, pick up other people's slack, etc. Not anymore! You would think I wouldn't have a change of heart when the job market is so bad...
  • WTF, my stomach is so sensitive today! Which means I'll most likely be having a visitor soon, WTF!

WTF does it cost so much to get my freaking travel immunizations! The grand total is going to be over $500! WTF!

My last job completely ruined this for me and I'm finding it hard to return to the overachiever I once was, even in my new job. I feel ya.

  • WTF is the only doctor that understands what is going on with my stomach not covered by insurance?!
  • WTF do all the nesties have stomach issues? I have to go to the GI doc tomorrow morning and I am dreading it.

I hear ya, same here. I used to enjoy new projects and always did my absolute best. I've always been the over-achiever... until now. I kinda' miss it. I've even considered going back for a second Master's in something (accounting maybe?) to get my drive back, but I'm too lazy now to do the work.

right? I refuse to go back to the GI doc because all they want to do is put me on something to stop my stomach from producing acid and I know that's not the problem. I go to a naturopath, which is not covered by insurance in GA, but I feel so much better on the diet and supplements she has put me on than I ever did by taking prevacid. GI's are too happy to medicate IMO.

Yes, this is my first time going to a GI doctor, though. I've just dealt with it for years, but I am so tired of doing that. I am really hoping that she tells me I have food allergies or something else that has an actual solution. I am afraid though that she is going to tell me I have something like IBS, and I'll just have to deal with it and keep muddling through.

I have food allergies/intolerances (corn and tomatoes) and am currently going through the regimen of tests for celiac disease. It definitely is easier to have an answer. If it does turn out to be food allergies or intolerances feel free to PM me with any questions.

Good luck.  I have IBS and it is seriously the worst thing ever.  Hope your tests turn out okay.

  • I feel sorry for all of you with GI issues as most of you know I've been dealing with my own GI problems since December.  I was tested three times for Celiac and all three times it was negative.  They still don't know what's wrong with me.  I've seen eight GI doctors and working on getting an appointment with a ninth up at Duke.

  • W(hy)TF am I cold, then hot, then cold...?  Can I please get some temperature control in this office space!

Also, W(hy)TF do I feel especially fat and rolly-polly today?  More than usual?  Not good.
