Local TV Commercials
We haven't done this in awhile. Anyone have any commercials they want to call out?
The one I hate is the "Butch's Burrito" in Spring Lake commercial. It shows this girl stuffing her face with a giant burrito while sitting on the beach. Totally unflattering and GROSS.
Is it the Midnight Sun & Tan commercial with the dorky female rap song? That is irritating but doesn't bother me as much as Butch's Burrito.
I think it is Hansen's <get it done> windows or home improvement? The owner or the guy that is talking - he just seems really sleazy to me. Anyone else get that vibe?
There are none that I really love or maybe it is because there's nothing that irritates me about them so I don't remember them!

There is one commercial that runs on my online radio station and they SWEAR in the commercial. It is about using public transportation to save the environment. The girl isn't using her air conditioning (to save the environment) in her house and her friend comes in and says "GIRRRLLL - it's hot as HELLLL in here". I think they say the "s" word too at some point too.
I know exactly what ones you're talking about. Yuck!
For radio I can't stand the commercials on 97.9 about "spicing it up in the bedroom" with adult toys and dvd's (not sure of the company exactly). It's embarassing if I'm listening to the FB&HW show and someone comes in my office and that commercial is on. Gross.
I totally hate the Midnight Sun & Tan ones - they never make any sense!
That Hanson guy looks like a total sleezeball and the only good thing is when his dog is in the commercial.
I don't necessarily hate these commercials, but I tend to get local jingles stuck in my head a lot.

"At Wholesale Windows (Wholesale Windows) you're gonna see a big difference."
"Find your car at WOOD TV.com"
"M-A-R-A-N-D-A it's park par-tay"
