I don't want to bombard you guys with too many knitting posts, but I really really love the way this one turned out and had to show it off:
I knit it in a very fine alpaca yarn, so it'll be great as a 3-season sweater. I love summer, but I'm kind of looking forward to the temperature dropping so I can show off my projects again!

Re: Another AW: New Cardigan
Thanks ladies!
Isn't it? The design isn't mine--but it would be a lie to say it wasn't difficult to execute. The shoulder decreases were really tough with the complicated lace. Totally worth it, though.

I do, actually! There's a link in my blog (which is linked in my siggy). I don't sell anything near this complicated, though. If I had unlimited time, sure, but this sweater took about a month to knit. I didn't keep track of the hours because it was for me, but I would have to charge some big bucks for it to make it worth my while. I really prefer selfish knitting.

I don't blame you! If I could knit like that I would be a selfish knitter, too!
I love your hat/bootie sets! Are you planning to do any in a Fall weight fabric? Or is the cotton/linen blend warmer than I am imagining?
The cotton's pretty thick, so it would be warm, but maybe once September hits, I can start making some in a washable merino instead. It's soft--so it doesn't irritate sensitive skin and you can toss it in the wash. And then maybe some harvest-y fruits and veggies, like pumpkins and the like.

Please do pumpkins! I would love a little pumpkin ensemble for Liam to wear for Thanksgiving!!

Lol, that's okay! I added some "pumpkin spice" yarn to my queue. My current commission project (a stranded leopard print vest) should finance a whole bunch of new baby projects.
