Finally getting my hands on a copy of a book I've been wanting to read for ages, getting some quiet Me-Time, finding a comfy spot in the sun and opening to the first page.
Seeing DH's face on Skype during our evening chat session
Feeling the sun on the back of my legs as I walked around doing errands today
Living near an awesome little-known Chinese restaurant (where I got takeout tonight)

My morning coffee - my office is freezing and this mug is so warm I just want to hug it to my chest like a kid with a kitten.
Also, kittens!
When my son gets so excited about something and he calls me 'mommy' instead of mom!
When the house is sparkling clean, everything put away, no one home but me and Frosty...I light candles and just r-e-l-a-x...
Sipping my morning latte in my jammies (in a mug from Beth
) while the dogs play next to me.....which is what I'm doing right.now.
My gentle yoga class 2 days a week.
New socks.
When the nights cool down enough that I can open all the doors and windows to let some real cool air in.
Seeing my dogs run around on the grass with pure joy on their little faces.
When a client is genuinely excited about their hair. Not just when they leave, but when they come back for their next visit and tell me it was "perfect".
being home again and sleeping in my own bed. snuggling with DH and having my cat snuggle up next to me too.
putting miss A down for a nap and then going back in to check on her, only to find she had pulled the camera for the video monitor down and was playing with it!! when i came in and looked at her, she had the most adorable look on her face like "what? was i not supposed to play with this?"
waking up to a baby that slept from 8:40pm to 5:30am!!! (after waking every 1-2 hrs nearly every night for 2+ weeks at my parents'! thought it was teething but i guess she just missed her crib?)
being able to bake again w/o having my mom constantly telling me how bad it is for me! LOL

My Food Blog - Good Eats 'n Sweet Treats
This and seeing my newly hung curtain panels that I put up last night and realizing how much cozier my house feels with them up.
My cup of Chamomile tea and reading my book right before I fall asleep in my cozy bed.
Sitting on my deck watching the sun set into the Rockies and then going out again the next morning to drink my coffee and listen to....quiet on weekends.

Going out for sushi and the raw fish (nigiri/sashimi) is so fresh that it melts in my mouth.
Eating a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich on a hot day.
The water flowing past me and glistening on the pool floor below me when I swim.
Coming out of the airport hallway and seeing my family waiting for me after a year spent apart.
When my cat jumps up into the bed to snuggle after DH leaves for work.
A super clean house!!
Trips to places I have never been to before.
Road trips in the summer with girlfriends, having no final destination, just driving and stopping every time we pass a winery.
