I am so glad that today's Thursday! Here are the two things I'm most thankful for today:
1. Only six more work days until I get my week's worth of vacation. Plans during vacation involves a lot of cleaning and prepping for our fall yard sale (hopefully we'll have enough stuff for a yard sale).
2. Tomorrow is the St. Christopher's fish fry and....POLKA BOY! I'm beyond excited for Polka Boy. They're a great band.
What are your ladies thankful for today?
Re: Thankful Thursdays
I'm thankful for:
1. DH. (I know, I know, I should always be) But this week he really helped calm me down when I freaked out about stupid things and our financial situation. He knows how to talk me off the ledge (so to speak).
2. We're getting our new four-legged furry addition tomorrow. We don't have a name yet, but I'm so excited to meet Mr. Man - that's what he's been know as until we agree on a name.
I'm thankful that my new desk came in yesterday which means I get to clean my office this weekend and move the desk in.
I'm thankful the week is almost over. Work has been no fun, and I've been feeling under the weather.
I'm thankful I have a DH, family, and friends who fully support my business endeavors.
Aww what kind of furry addition are you getting?! You'll have to share pics with us when you get him!!
I'm thankful that:
1. My mom called and invited us out to dinner for some Chinese tonight. It's just too hot to cook today and we don't have anything thawed.
2. I'm almost done with the first trimester!! Woohoo for small victories!!
I second this!

1. As much as I am resenting it right now, I am very grateful that I have a full-time job and a steady paycheck. I really need to keep reminding myself of this, even when boss wants me to play chauffeur (ew!).
2. I am thankful that there are only 12 more work hours until the weekend and that the Clam Festival is this weekend!

I agree with Reine, I'm also thrilled that I have a steady job, with a steady paycheck (if you could call the stipend I get from grad school a paycheck)
Also, I'm grateful I'm ALMOST done writing my grant. I'm such a stress eater, and this hasn't been good for my waistline.
I am so thankful that the display on my laptop decided to go exactly 2 weeks before the 3-year warranty ended, which means it can be fixed for free. That was a close one!
And of course I am thankful for the upcoming weekend, like always!
I am thankful that...
1) A friend of the family gave us a very late wedding gift (money) which allowed us to get our tickets for a White Sox game in Sept. I'm not a Sox fan (go Cubs!) but hubby is, and I'm happy to see him so stoked.
2) We went on our honeymoon when we did, because if we were to price our honeymoon for this year... it would be $1000 more!
3) I am thankful that I get paid tomorrow. Really, really, really need a pay day!
(And Yay for Three Paycheck Month!)
1. I am thankful this week is almost over. I'm exhausted.
2. I'm thankful our air conditioning is fixed, ridiculous.
3. I'm thankful I turned down a job yesterday. It wouldn't have made me happy. Things happen for a reason, just have to wait my turn.
4. Glad my husband is a genius and he can convert fahrenheit to celcius in his head....so I can stop yelling at the computer when trying to figure out what the temp will be in Europe in September. Uh...
Hmmm...
1) I'm thankful to have a job where I work too hard- So many people don't have jobs right now, and the hospital is proposing more layoffs. Better to be an employee, than a parent in the waiting room.
2) I'm thankful for my health insurance, even though I'm up too early and have to go to physical therapy before work.
3) Thankful that so far, our short sale is still a go, no matter how slowly the process (It's day 59). To have enough $ in the bank for a down payment is cool.
4) And of course, DH, the calm to my inner chaos. (And as I was reminded when I woke him up late last night when I got home from work, pretty rockin' in the sack!)
Thankful for my DH. He's so good to me, and sometimes I think I take him for granted.
Thankful that it's Thursday, and that means tomorrow's Friday! We get to have dinner with DH's family tomorrow, and that's always fun.
I also echo the steady job/paycheck thing. I'm really lucky to have this job.

We're a black English lab. English Labs are a little bigger than American labs - stockier and broader but not as tall. Definitely weigh 15-20 lbs more. We can't wait!!! We pick him up tomorrow, he just turned 8 weeks. I'll definitely share pictures on Monday.
Do you guys have any names picked out yet?

We've been throwing around a couple...I'll start a poll, liven up the board!
Yessss!!!
1. I'm thankful that after our my bunnies' first day outside in real summer heat (our weather has been behind this year), they were still alive and happy when I got home from work yesterday (I was so worried!).
2. I'm thankful that everyone that was in my PiYo class this week wants to continue after the session is over. This means I can start up a class in the space my friend has been renting by the hour which means that is my first "real" step toward making our studio happen.
3. I'm thankful that I just got referred to teach voice lessons in town (so far all of my lessons have been through the studio I teach at an hour away -- not good for referrals). If that pans out, I will be SO excited but I'm thankful just for the possibility.
MY BLOG!
1. My best friend's new baby girl, Eva Madeleine!
2. My old roommate's new baby boy, Daniel Sidney!
3. My cousin and her family living only 45 minutes away
4. Drinks with my non-pregnant friends tonight
