Oil Cleansing Method

Does anyone do this?

I started it last night and I was pleasantly surprised with how my skin looked and felt after.  This morning it was a little oily but I expected that.  The only downside was I did smell like chinese food when I was done (using sesame seed oil was recommended to me by my sister's dermatologist).

    Haven't tried it. If I remember correctly, Paula has brought it up before but I'm not sure if she ended up doing it or not.

    Paula was the one that mentioned it before.  I tried it and it was ok.  It's something I might have continued but my dermatologist put me on prescription moisturizers and soaps so I can't use anything else.  I used an olive oil and castor oil blend.

    If I remember correctly Paula said she thought it helped with how oily her face was. I've never tried it though as my skin tends to be on the dry side to begin with.

    Oh and my skin is severely dry.  I know there are different mixtures of oils depending on your skin type.  There is a website dedicated to this method.  Just google it if you haven't seen it already.

    I've been to the site.  I used the percentages recommended by my sister's dr though.  I was really just wondering how it works after a few weeks/months since I was happy with last night's attempt.

    I get oily skin in the summer.  I've been taking my makeup off with Cetaphil and using this bar soap with a special brush afterwards.  Makes my face feel very good.  Then I use a grapefuit toner and a special moisturizer.  I haven't had a problem with oil all spring/summer.
