I'm here. Not too busy at work today, so I am trying to figure out how I am going to cut my hair at my appt tomorrow. It is currently a mess, so I really want to switch it up.... maybe bangs and hilights? suggestions welcome.

Yeah, my sis said I should get hilights, but I've been back & forth about it. Just called my stylist just to see if they had time to add them into my cut appt tomorrow, and they're pretty booked up, so I will probably skip it for now.
Choo, that sounds like fun! What are your ideas so far?? What parts are you responsible for planning... tablescape/place settings, food, favors, etc?
What about using bookmarks somewhere?? maybe for favors?
There is probably a lot you can do with book titles or famous quotes too...
I just got home from work. I got off early today because I have to work again Sat. morning.
Choo, I love that idea for a baby shower. That is was I wanted to do for my SIL, but she told my MIL she didn't want us to throw her a second shower. Way to say no to gifts, SIL.
On a related note, she is going to be induced on Aug. 11th. I am so excited to be an aunt! She is naming him Camden Finn. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but then again it's not my baby.

Did you see the controversy this party caused -- I can't remember what board it was on but earlier this week there was a 3 page post about how the party was so over the top and Annie's kid was going to be all kinds of screwed up because of his egomaniac mother, etc. Completely ridiculous. I love the party.
As for me - I just spent 3 hours at the OB's office and want to tear my hair out. I seriously laughed when they handed me the paper with the schedule for my next 2 appointments, this appointment was on the sheet at an estimated 20 minutes. I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes past my appt time before they ever even called me back. Then I ran into a friend of a friend in the waiting room who is pregnant with twins - now I have to make sure and tell my friend before she has a chance to tell her she saw me there, even though I asked her to stay quiet. We'll see. But anyway, since I took a 3 hour break in the middle of my day, now its a little crazy around here.

Choo - the party idea sounds fun! I've got no ideas, though.
Hawki - I couldn't believe some of the things that were said about her party. I read the post yesterday on WC. I thought it was totally adorable!
Megs - Do you love going to the salon as much as I do? My secret wish is that I could afford to have someone wash and style my hair for me every day, it is just so relaxing...mmmm
I have an orthodontist appt. later today and I might finally get my braces off! Yay!!!! Wow -- I just sounded like a 14 year old girl, yikes! I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up. Dr. has been telling me for months that I will get them off soon. 30 months original time on has turned into 46 months. I am so ready.
I Loooooove it! My stylist gives these amazing scalp massages while he shampoos... fantastic!! But I rarely have the budget for it, and sadly, I haven't even had a hair cut since January!!
I have an appt. Saturday morning (for trim & foils) & am so looking forward to it. The scalp massage is the best! Every time I think I should just get cuts (no color) or go somewhere cheaper DH is so sweet and says "No, you deserve it. You work so hard." So just keep telling yourself that, too. It really works--no guilt at all!

Confession: I really don't feel like doing any more actual work at work today. Good thing I leave in about 15 minutes.
speaking of babies, I was poking around on the bump and saw a J09er is pregnant and due in January. I don't want to announce her news, but I think we'd all be excited for her
Ok, I had to figure this out and yes, that's very exciting! So many J9 babies on the way!
