The worst feeling in the world is that millisecond when you know you're about to die after you lean your chair too far back.

Re: worst feeling
Did you look around to see if anyone saw you? lol
OOOOOOOHHHHH
"Four on the floor!!"
I yell this at my students numerous times throughout the day, and then do not show any pity for them when they do fall and they cry. Haha
I wish I were the kind of friend who, when a friend falls off her chair like this, would rush over and see if you were okay...
but, nope, I'm the kind of friend who immediately starts pointing and laughing!
so, in the spirit of being true to who I am, psssshhhhh bahahahahaha!
seconded.
I'm the same way, I would laugh my a$$ off if I saw anyone else do this. I just "play it cool" when its me.
I think the most embarrassing thing that I have done out of sheer stupidity is when I lived in my apt back in college. I had a hallway linen closet and then on top there was another cabinet. One day I was putting some stuff up and then went back in my room leaving that top cabinet door open. Then I heard my phone ring from the living room and took off running down the hall. Before I knew it I smacked my forehead on that open cabinet and fallen back on my butt. I had a bruise there in a perfect line for about a week and no matter how I styled my hair there was no hiding it. I had to be honest about what I had done.....my professors and friends made fun of me to no end. I still hear about it.
Hmmm...stupidest thing I ever did was show up 2 or 3 minutes late for an hour and a half long class in university, look around, couldn't find my friends, so I sat by myself. I sat there for the full hour and a half and took notes the whole time, without realizing that it (a) wasn't my class, (b) wasn't my professor, (c) wasn't even the same course that I was supposed to be in. I didn't realize that I'd gone to the wrong class until I jogged to my next class which was on the medical campus (10 minutes away, jogging the whole time, I always had to run to make it there on time) got to THAT class and sat down, and then realized that I was in an advanced med course instead of my intro to human anatomy course. I had gone to my Monday schedule of classes when it was, in fact, Tuesday. I have never lived that one down amongst my friends.
I wasn't even drunk.
thirded! hahaha
LOL! I used to teach dance and I would laugh at the girls when they fell. And then I would bring it up a few months later and laugh again. Maybe that makes me really mean, but they were like my little sisters so they didn't care.
