I need to get my hair trimmed, just trimmed. No fancy hair cut or shaping, just nipped.
I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for something that should take a matter of 10 minutes. Have any of y'all used a salons like Smart Clips?
Thanks!
Re: Suggestions
I haven't used any around here but I have used places like that in the past. I think as long as you just want a trim it should be fine.
The only reason I say that is because one time I went to Fantastic Sam's wanting a shoulder length bob to take out all of my layers so I could grow my hair out evenly. I left the salon with a reverse bob. That was above the nape of my neck in the back! Not a good thing when I was trying to grow it out. Obviously, there was some sort of miscommunication but I wouldn't want that to happen to someone else.
I would personally never go to one of those places just because I've heard too many horror stories.
my guy charges around $25 - jimmy at california cuts in cedar park. not sure if that's too far for you, but here's his info:

his wife also cuts hair (she seems less busy than him), although I've never had her cut mine.
