So, I already posted this on Stephers thread below, but now am feeling embarrassed with myself again, even though this incident happened years ago. In the spirit of hilariousness, I am sharing my dumbest moment with you, but post some of yours too, to make me feel better!! haha here it is:
Hmmm...stupidest thing I ever did was show up 2 or 3 minutes late for an hour and a half long class in university, look around, couldn't find my friends, so I sat by myself. I sat there for the full hour and a half and took notes the whole time, without realizing that it (a) wasn't my class, (b) wasn't my professor, (c) wasn't even the same course that I was supposed to be in. I didn't realize that I'd gone to the wrong class until I jogged to my next class which was on the medical campus (10 minutes away, jogging the whole time, I always had to run to make it there on time) got to THAT class and sat down, and then realized that I was in an advanced med course instead of my intro to human anatomy course. I had gone to my Monday schedule of classes when it was, in fact, Tuesday. I have never lived that one down amongst my friends.
I wasn't even drunk.
Re: Dumb things you've done
do ex-boyfriends count?? haha.
I do dumb things all the time, but fortunately I have the luxury of not getting embarrassed about ANYTHING. I do stupid things ALL the time, but I don't care!!
You crazy Canadian!!! haha
Dumb things I've done recently?? HH came home later than I did one night and parked behind me in the driveway. The next morning I had to run to the bank before it closes, so I WALKED PAST his car, got into mine and proceeded to back up. INTO HIS CAR.
Thankfully, there was no damage. HH looked at me said, "it's just a car, not big deal." But, I started crying because I felt so incredibly stupid...
Oh well, a funny story to share with the grandkids.
Two winters ago, I was visiting a friend at her house. When I went to leave, I misjudged her driveway, and my back wheel went into her ditch. It wouldn't have been a big deal if it weren't so icy, but I couldn't get enough traction to drive out of the ditch. So we put the car into neutral, and pushed the car out of the ditch...that worked perfectly, except we pushed it a little too hard, and it shot forward on the ice...right into her house! And yes, it left a hole.
Hmm....just learned something new. Thanks Pam!
I just did a stupid thing a few minutes ago. Our wedding gift came from one of our groomsmen today. So I texted him that we got it and I love it. Turns out I sent it to my cousin Dave instead of groomsman Dave. So when he texted back I had to say I'm an idiot but I loved his gift too. I hate when I do stupid sh!t.
Hhhmmm I do dumb stuff all the time lol I can't think of just one!
grrr. Washington State is my nemesis now.
H and I have to go to a "destination" wedding there next summer.
Please tell me there are fun things to do there....
Would rather spend my money and vacation days at a beach

Well, I have a Nissan Murano, with a smart key. It uses radio frequency and the car will sense when the key is inside and close to the driver's side. It's pretty neat and I do like this feature. However, last summer I wasn't carrying a purse and didn't have any pockets so I decided to put my key in a shopping bag. I failed to remove my key from the shopping bag and tossed it in the garbage just before the trash pick up came. I totally threw away the key and didn't realize til I went to get in my car and it wouldn't open.
I was standing outside my car door, repeatedly pushing the button and complaining to my now husband that it wasn't working. Then I realized what happened. That was an expensive mistake. It was $300 for a replacement key and another $200 to reprogram the car.
My husband still asks if I have my key...
