T-shirt Memory Blanket seller on Etsy

Somebody here mentioned having a bunch of band shirts. I love this idea!  I don't have enough shirts to make one though Sad

Check it out!

Re: T-shirt Memory Blanket seller on Etsy

  • My mom made me one with all of my track and cross country tshirts from high school.  Its a great way to keep your memories.
  • I mentioned it a long time ago. That's cute! I still haven't gotten around to doing that myself. I'll have to take a count when I get home, can't remember just how many.
  • Oh god you don't need that many shirts!!  Dh has 2, one from high school, one from college, I think he has maybe 16-20 different shirts if that.

They kind of build up when you're in band and choir in high school, at least at mine, a new shirt came out every year, sometimes twice a year for both activities. I never even realized they were pretty much my whole wardrobe in h.s. until I was cleaning out my closet back in the fall! And I'll admit, I still was wearing some of those shirts.

Oh, what a great idea!  I wish I'd known about that...  In high school I played in the pit for a lot of musicals (at my high school, other high schools, and amateur theaters) and each time I got a t-shirt.  I have no idea what happened to them, but that would have made a really memorable blanket for me.

same for me-- I still wear some of my old drumline tshirts and my husband hates it!
