Port A condo/house rental?
My parents are coming for a visit next weekend (the 24th) and DH will be going out of town most of the week, so I think we might head down to the beach for 2 nights. Probably Port A, since that's the only TX beach I've been to.
I'm scouring VRBO and HomeAway for rentals, but anyone know of something else? It's just the 3 of us, so it'd be nice if it had 2 bedrooms, but I could sleep on a pull-out couch or bring our inflatable mattress if it only had 1 bdrm. Only 2 requirements are from my mom - close to the beach (she's overweight and won't want to walk TOO far to the beach, which I know is a challenge in Port A), and something fairly new/remodeled (i saw a few wood-paneled 70s rentals which won't do).
let me know if you think of anything!! it's (obviously) an impromptu trip, but I hope it works out!

We always stay at Port Royal. They are really nice condos and have lots of different sizes. Love love love the pool plus they have a walkway over to the beach. They also have a restaurant, shops and room service! Personally, my favorite is the swim up bar!

We had a room that fit 6 adults and we had plenty of room for more. The condo was recently remodeled and overlooked the beach...every condo overlooks the beach in that facility. We really enjoyed it. Its worth a call.
