Recipe ideas for new mom & dad??
I want to bring something over to my friend this weekend that they can refrigerate/freeze and heat up easily for a few meals next week. Her DH is allergic to nuts and cheese. Maybe some kind of a soup? Any ideas would be welcome!

Re: Recipe ideas for new mom & dad??
When a friend had a baby, we made them a turkey breast, and brought over a bunch of those salad in a bag things... then they could have quite a few meals. We also brought some bread and cheese to make sandwiches later in the week.
Personally, I think it;s too hot for soups, but what about different salads? Like bean salads, lentil salad, pasta salad, etc etc. Most other things I think of have cheese in them.
My staple for these situations is slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches. It's easy, and it'll keep them fed for a long time.
