I almost hit a teenage boy on my way to the library the other day and I wasn't even sad about it. He looked at me like "wth, lady" when HE was the one JAY walking on a busy street. I was so mad that I gave him a nasty look. Then, of course, he was at the library and our paths kept crossing. Embarrassment ughhh..

DH told me that his older brother is finally starting to talk about finding a woman and getting married, and possibly moving to the US. Which means that MIL would probably move to the US too. They are very nice people, but one of the things I initially liked about DH was that his family was 2,000 miles away in another country. sigh. Also, I think that BIL is very very very deep in the closet, so I'm not sure he could be married to a woman, and all that stuff.

I wanted my cousin to have a baby girl so that we (my cousin and I) could do all of the fun stuff that I used to do with my aunts with her. He will like H more than me, and that makes me jealous.

DH and I have a section 8 rental property (basically government paid housing) Apparently our tenant abandoned the place 2 or 3 months ago and left all her stuff the place was a mess. All the doors had been kicked in and she hadn't taken out the trash in months!!! how gross!! It has taken us and our family nearly 75 man hours and nearly $1000 to clean the place up this week. I couldn't believe people could be so uncivilized!!

I felt so crappy yesterday when I got home that I skipped the gym and took a loooooooong shower while DH ran 5 miles. At least he admitted they were crappy miles so I didn't feel so bad for being lazy.

I hate people who make their kids their facebook photo. It is your facebook not your babies, toddlers whatevers facebook. How about a picture of you and your kid if you must have a photo of them as your main picture.

We'll be spending the weekend cleaning/picking up/organizing the house in preparation for the cleaning lady to come next week. I'm pretty stressed about this and insist on doing a little pre-cleaning before she arrives so it won't look as bad. I worry that she'll judge us, because I know how fancy the other houses she cleans are.

I'm pissed that the OB's office didn't tell me I needed to eat a big meal before my non-stress test this morning so they ended up putting a buzzer on my belly to force the baby to wake up so they could see her heartbeat spike--it seemed like a traumatic thing to do to her that could have been avoided had they given me some simple instructions. She's been kicking like crazy ever since. Poor baby!

On Monday my friend and I made plans to hang out yesterday. Something came up and I couldn't do it yesterday so I moved it to today. I text her on Wednesday and told her and she said that Friday was fine. I text her yesterday asking if we were still planning on hanging out today and going shopping. She never responded. She never showed up today either. I think she's at her parents. She could have at least had the decency to tell me she wasn't coming. I didn't plan to do anything today because I was expecting her to come over. It irritates me to NO end when people say they will do something and then don't and don't let you know things have changed.

I had a college friend come in from out of town. I invited her and her friends over for dinner after we met for lunch. I'm tired now and don't feel like entertaining, so I lied and texted her that my husband made plans that I completely forgot about and we're not going to be available tonight. I suck. But, I just really want to go home, make some guacamole and sip on the margaritas I have chilling in the fridge.
