My Mother is Hilarious and Doesn't Know It
She tells me this story yesterday.
Last week she was in the grocery and there was a 2-3 year old in a cart screaming "mine" at the top of his lungs and the mom would see that he threw something into the cart and put it back and shake her head "no". When he didn't get his way he would scream bloody murder.This is of course annoying when you are doing a full grocery run and keep running into this family.
My mother, thinking that this lady was doing a great job with a temperamental child approached the mother with some, well we'll just say she was trying to be kind and encouraging. Basically she said, I know it's hard to keep saying no, but you're doing a great job. To which the mom said "thank you" to my mom, in sign language.
