Has anyone carved pumpkins this year??
DH and I both carved one last night. We have a third that I'm trying to decide on.
Do you carve pumpkins? What "patterns" or faces are they this year?

not this year....my claim to fame with pumpkins is my pumpkin from 2006....that one is still my fav!!! i think there is a pic of it in my bio...under my seasonal stuff...
i would like to do another one like that sometime...but maybe carve it with a fake pumpkin so that work doesn't rot away! LOL
We haven't this year. I may paint some this year and put glitter on them or funny faces!
I will, but I haven't yet. I need to get some pumpkins for the front steps this weekend.
I traditionally do just a normal jack-o-lantern carving, but I admit that I mostly carve the pumpkin so I can roast the pumpkin seeds. Yum.
I love carving pumpkins!!! We haven't carved any since we have lived here though. We don't really have a porch and since there is a lake behind us the bugs at night are kind of bad.

This is my cat pumpkin, pre-candle. It's still in the kitchen! I don't have a good pic of DH's, because it's already outside.
