It's been a long week but today is going really well so far and I am excited to end the week on a positive note.
I bought jeans last night and they are one size smaller than my pre-pg size - 10 weeks after delivery!
I applied for a promotion a few months ago and did not get it but the HR rep emailed my boss this morning to ask if she supported me reapplying because I did so well on the assessment. (The interview was a challenge.) They are even willing to let me reapply prior to the standard 6 month waiting period!
Anyone else want to share something good?

Yay, lucky!!
As for me? Well, mostly I'm still AWing that I got the only and first job I've interviewed for in 5 years and that I was "brave" enough to take the chance and finally start my career path. I'm mostly a creature of habit and love the familiar, so this was very un-mamie like.
Oh, and our new mattress set we bought last weekend just came in!! So I'm really excited to have it delivered this weekend (hopefully).

No AWs from me today... had a mini melt down this morning caused by a misbehaving doggie, and I forgot to make myself coffee this morning (my sanity drug), and on top of that I am having a major fat day. Just call me Debbie Downer (waaah waaaaaaaaaaaah).

Mamie - I'm hoping my job search is as easy as your was... but as of now it doesnt seem like its going to be.
Megs -- not fun, I've totally been there, the dog can make or ruin your morning in the span of 5 minutes it seems.
As for me... I'm just thankful that I was able to sleep through the whole night and take a shower this morning without feeling like I was going to puke or pass out. I'm crossing my fingers that the morning sickness is starting to let up a little.

I did the exact same thing last week and it scared the crap out of me because I didnt even realize it at all until I had already done it. I drive the exact same route every morning, you would think I could do it in my sleep but evidently I need to pay more attention.

My AW is cute. The other day my H told me my sneakers were ugly, which is hilarious since he picked them out. He took the kids out for a while on Sunday to buy some fish to cook etc...I didn't think anything of it. Yesterday, a package was delivered from Asics, brand new sparkly sneakers in my size and everything!! He took them to the mall and picked out some brand new kicks for me. I still can't get over how thoughtful and sweet that was!
