Besides elevating my feet, what can I do for swelling? Is ice good or bad for that? My ankles and feet are ginormous since yesterday. I am blaming the weather. Oh yeah, and the two aliens in my belly.
Re: Swelling
My BP has been fine so far. I drink a ton of water, too. I've had some random bouts of swelling since about 18w. I really think it's because it's been so humid here but no matter the cause, it sucks. I look like an elephant and it's getting umcomfortable.
It usually happens right before a weekend, too. Especially if I have plans to go away.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
Thanks, I'll try those things.
My fingers are only sliiiiiightly swollen. I hope I get a few more weeks wearing my rings before I have to parade around town looking like an unwed mother.
Cut your sodium. That will make the biggest impact.
I had some SERIOUS edema going on to the point where it felt like my skin was going to burst. Turns out, that can happen. On the plus side, after I had Connor and was re-admitted to the hospital for my BP I was put on diuretics to help get rid of the swelling, and I lost TWENTY POUNDS IN TWO DAYS. Just in water retention.
