Went to new Sonic last night

Neither DH nor I had ever been there, so we went to try it. It was busy but very organized, even a cop was there. We only waited about 7 min for a stall and they were all full the whole time. Our server was okay; she gave DH the wrong change b/c she counted wrong. I wondered if this was her first job.

I have to say, I thought the food was mediocre. I got a burger, tots and sprite. My burger (no cheese) was pretty bland. While it would've been better w/cheese, it wouldn't have been the best burger ever.

I know people like the place, and while I do still want to try a limeade, I don't think I'll go back. Oh well, it was an experience!

I'm kind of the same way... I also think their fries are better than their tots. *gasp* DH is obsessed with Sonic. They're definitely not my favorite burgers (not that I eat burgers often) but I think they're decent. I get mine with no cheese and no mayo, so they always load it with extra pickles and lots of ketchup/mustard. I definitely love the drinks, though - cherry limeade is my favorite.

I like their tots. I haven't been too impressed with anything else. I have gone to the one on 20 a few times and I also go to the one in Van Wert when I work out there and the food is always better in VW.

Oh, and we stopped there for breakfast once a while back and it was not good. I usually love fast food breakfast but I was not at all impressed with theirs.

Yes, their food is mediocre at best. I do like the cherry limeaid though. It's always been a road trip kind of thing, like "hey, we don't have that at home, let's stop and get limeaids for the drive."

I stopped there on my drive to Cinci a couple weeks ago and got a chicken bacon ranch sandwhich that was actually really good. I didn't like the onion rings though.

LOL...I went to the one on Navarre last night. I was the only one home(well TJ was too) and we were heading back from the store so I thought, what the heck, I'll stop here. I had a Chicken Club Toaster with no mayo(never had it before so I left the other stuff on), tots(yum...I actually really like these) and then tried a different drink. I, too, like the cherrylimeade, but last night I treated myself to a creamslush treat-grape. It was so yummy. The sandwich was ok

Whoever said they had a chicken bacon ranch sandwich...I may have to try that next time....

So I drove by the new Sonic on the way to Five Guys tonight. The cars were lined up onto the street. And I ended up not going to Five Guys as the line was to the door.

I just think the food is ok too, im not sure why people are so crazy over it. Although we have been hitting it up on occasion for ice cream sundae's, my DH saw they had a special after 8PM they are 99cents, were close to the one on navarre so those are pretty good if you catch one during the sale =0)
