But if you, or anyone else, has any brilliant ideas, I'm looking for new sheets and pillow shams for when the new bed arrives. I'm keeping the white duvet cover. The walls are like a mushroom color. I was thinking of a pattern, but can't think of what color it should be. Hate red. H is iffy on some greens. And I'm about to way overdo yellow as an accent color in the house.

I like that but not sure about brown. I'm trying to kill most brown shades in the house and go toward cool grays. But don't think gray will work with the walls having so much taupe in them. :-/

honestly, I think I like the idea of all white or all beige sheets. The room already has this sleek & sophisticated vibe going, and I think adding too much color would soften that. Maybe you could add drama with texture instead of color... say you did all white bedding and added some cute accent pillows...I have a major crush on these ones at west elm:

I love that idea, megs. I would probably do it if I lived alone. :-/ DH has a habit of eating in bed, and having the white duvet already makes me a Nervous Nellie. And this is insane, but he has this theory that people sleep better in dark bedding. ::side eye::
We'll see. My trip to TJ Maxx yesterday was unsuccessful.
