s/o Silly Bandz and fads
...I opened Yahoo and this was the first thing to pop up.
Aside from the chokers and banana clip, I took part in each of these trends. I never had enough hair/not long enough hair to use a banana clip.
Confession: My senior HS picture was with a Debbie Gibson hat and I wore Jelly Shoes in orange and green (one on each foot) through graduation.

I'm with you with the fads... I saw a slap bracelet a few years ago and was back in love! DH thought I was insane.
Random tid bit: my uncle was the one who brought Jelly shoes over from China to the US. He was always giving me them and I hated them and would never wear them. Obviously I "missed" something as they were a HUGE hit.

I had a fifth grade boyfriend (yea, hush) buy me the Princess Diana beanie baby for my birthday. Everyone thought that it was going to be worth so much in the future since they only made a limited number. I was listening to the radio the other day and supposedly it's worth like $16 on eBay... boo! I had the tag protectors and everything on them.
Haha me too! I have the Princess Diana Bear in the special case and I have "Emerald" too which was the Irish Bear. I am pretty sure my grandmother paid a pretty penny for both. I actually still have my entire collection at my parents house, tags attached too.
My best friend passed away from a malignant brain tumor when we were 12 and beanie babies were his favorite; he was a huge collector. We even named our relay for life team, established in his memory, "TJ's Beanies". I can't bear the though of getting rid of them, maybe some day.
