Weekend Plans

What's everyone up to this weekend?

Tonight: Dinner at the monthly BLGR to use our Dine Around card. I think this month it's the Buckhead Diner. Afterwards, 3 hours of the Tour De France on the DVR.

Saturday: DH may go look at a car (MrsBAMF--it's a used VW Diesel Wagon), I'm going to do a short bike ride, pick up some stuff at the bike shop that I'm having fixed, clean the house, and nap, nap, nap. We are going to happy hour with some friends and then home for more Tour De France on the DVR.

Sunday: A mountain bike race for me, DH has a yard project he is working on and probably a bike ride, grocery shopping, more Tour De France

Re: Weekend Plans

Tomorrow: Working and working on my other creative gig making wedding invites.

Sunday: I'm going to brunch then seeing the Phantom of the Opera with my a bunch of my family.

  • Tonight - Relax with DH, watch a movie.

Saturday - DH is taking a weekend off from working on cars, so we'll be doing quite a bit of relaxing and maybe a bit of window shopping, and hopefully some yard work will get worked in too.

  • Gym, Braves game, Church.

Also I love how VW's look but I would stay away. They require alot of maintenance. We get a pretty large discount on VW's and have never considered buying one because of the maintenece issue.

Ditto and TRITTO that! I had one and will never ever buy another, not just b/c of my experince, but a handful of other friends that had one and their problems as well.

I to get a signifigant discount on them. Never.

JMHO though. Some people have great luck with them.

i've had two and i disagree. i've had to do the normal maintenance on them but not really anything out of the ordinary. they are great cars esp for the price!

  • Tonight: probably dinner somewhere nearby and then relaxing (finally in our own bed)!

Tomorrow: driving back to SC for the day to pick up a few things left at our old house and finishing up some cleaning.  We'll probably do some unpacking when we get back (depending on how we feel) and then relax...maybe with a movie, some drinks and who knows what else?!

    Sun: unpacking, unpacking and unpacking!

Handful?? I have run out of fingers!! I used to lurve the Touareg, and noticed my neighbor got rid of his. I was like " What did you do with my car?" he said" That car gave me a ton of problems so I traded it before the warranty expired " . The only person I know now who still has her Passat Station Wagon is looking for a new car as well. Its such a shame because they are great looking cars.  I have also been told by people in the business that the parts are expensive but thats to be expected with a European Car.

Champagne if I ever change my mind I am going to have you over to perform a seance.
