vent about co-workers
Do you hate any of the people you work with? I mean like REALLY dispise?
I have one sales person that I work with that loves to try to throw everyone under the bus when in the end he was the source of the problem or error. Well I just got an email from him that said "You are making my life difficult." I can feel my blood boiling and I just want to throat punch him. ARGH. He drives me absolutely insane and I just can't take his drama anymore. Everyone around here knows he acts like a 5 year old when he doesn't get his way, but no one does anything. I don't hate many things, but I really hate him.

I'm so sorry. :-( That makes for a really uncomfortable work environment, and definitely doesn't help brighten up a Friday.
It must be a sales thing, because there are a couple of sales people at my company that I feel that way about. One of them once hung up on me; it wasn't pretty. For them, it's all about the bottom-line. For us in operations, it's about following policies and procedures that were put in place for a reason. Sales people will do anything to skip that part.
Yes, there are a few actually. But one is actually in my group. She is new and has made a big stink about a few things. She is just so condescending and talks down to people. It drives me crazy.

I did have someone treat me like absolute crap that I really hated. He was so mean to me, loading work on me and making me stay later than anyone else in the office...for no reason. I couldnt do anything about it, so I quit. I heard however after I did quit, that he came to one of the other supers and asked if he was the reason why I had left. Ummm, duh. He quickly changed his attitude. Too little too late for me.
He actually sent you an email that said "you make my life difficult" ?!!!!!
Umm, I would go to your supervisor and tell them about it. Maybe if your boss gave him a talk he would tune down his actions. Thats just wrong.
Oh yeah! I forwarded the email to HR (who is off today) and said I would like to talk to her about this and working with this guy when she gets back.
Wow, he is so stupid! You have proof against him now, he must not have thought of that. Good for you for going to HR with it. Good luck, hope something happens with him. Let us know how it goes.
i had a coworker at my last place who was about 60 and she had worked at the company for like 25 years but never cared to advance herself so technically she & i had the same job title (even though i was brand new to HR). she was SOOO negative, had an awful cackle laugh, had something to say or complain about EVERYTHING, and always talked about how she didnt have any money to pay for anything. she also told on me that i was coming in late to work (i'm talking - 5 minutes late, though i never took breaks and always left late though we couldnt makr that we worked overtime) and talked about everyone in the office behind their backs.
GOOOOOSHHHHHHH i hated her. could.not.stand.her.AT.ALL. she made my blood boil. i'm glad i'm not there anymore!!!
This TOTALLY describes several of the women in my dept! They don't like our dept. chairperson, who is one of my best friends. They have been downright nasty to the dept. chair and all of her friends. Their favorite rumor to spread about me is that I always know my schedule before everyone else does, which is not true at all. They have even tried to get my other best friend at work to talk about me behind my back. Duh! That totally backfired on them. There are 5 ppl in their group, and 2 are known as weak teachers, but the principals won't do anything about it b/c they are afraid the teachers will stir up trouble.
GRRR...I have to see them in 3 weeks! I was enjoying my summer without thinking of them!
