Friend getting married on north shore of Oahu....
Hi there! One of my girlfriends is getting married on the north shore of Oahu in October. Anyone have a good florist and photographer recommendation?

Frank Amodo (photog) is AMAAAAAZING - you can check out some of his work in my bio.
We used Wantanabe Floral for our flowers - they're not actually a wedding florist, but we didn't have many flowers (just my bouquet, 3 boutonnieres and 3 corsages) and they did a fabulous job and were much more budget friendly than if I'd gone with a dedicated wedding florist.
I second the suggestion to check out the HI board on the Knot, too - it was super helpful to me when we were planning!
+1 to checking out TK HI board. but i really loved my flowers from Su-V Expressions! i liked my photographer, but i would have gone with one of the others if they were available.
...i was going to say that there are photos and reviews in my bio, but looks like it's completely gone
with TK would have saved all that work somewhere before replacing it entirely!
My Planning Bio
Another vote for Shawn Starr... his photos are art. We love ours.
We did not use a florist. We picked up flowers from Watanabe (I would definitely use them as a florist if I had a bigger wedding). They had beautiful flowers, excellent quality and a great selection. In the time we were there, several other florists were buying their supply from Watanabe! That tells me that they have the best stuff.
We picked up several lei from Jr Lee and T (thanks, local Lisa). They were so helpful in describing what each represented. They are a tiny operation on S. King St. near Down to Earth.
Newlyweds since 2007
Shawn did our pics and I think he's FABULOUS! He was worth SO much more than we paid for his services. He's an amazing photographer and is now a good friend.
