Re: Weekend Plans
Seeing an old friend tonight
Cleaning my house tomorrow
BBQ with some friends tomorrow night
Sunday will be spent at Dh's G-parents house.
Tonight, not much just grocery shopping after M goes down for the night.
Tomorrow, we are taking M to the splash pad in the morning then that night we are going hang out with some friends and bbq. M is also staying the grandparents so that's pretty awesome.
Sunday, grandparents are bringing M back in the morning and then it will be a day of being lazy and getting ready for the next week.
I need to complete a position paper on an article about counterpoint species, a final position paper about music theory pedagogy, and finish a take home final. I have two lessons I need to put together, one about cadences and the other about American music compositions post 1950. So, I'll be working on all of that.
Sunday for lunch I'm meeting my sister's new boyfriend. I might take H to a movie if I feel I have time tomorrow.
Tonight: For the first time in six weeks, I don't have weekend plans that require me to travel - so JJ and I are staying put in Stillwater. I made crockpot beef stew for dinner, and we're just going to hang out at home and watch some cartoons. I'm very much looking forward to it. If I have the energy, I'll finish my cleaning after he goes to bed.
Tomorrow: If we get up early enough, we're gonna hit the Farmer's Market in town. Probably meeting my mom in OKC so we can start looking for big boy furniture (JJ's nearly 36" tall and outgrowing everything). I'm having dinner tomorrow night with friends who haven't seen JJ since he was 9 months old...they're excited to see him.
Sunday: Not much planned. Probably head to the pool at the apartment to let JJ get some water time in (maybe), but we'll find some sort of outdoor thing to do during the "cooler" hours.
Tonight we are having dinner with friends.
I have a hair appointment tomorrow morning. Then H and I will be shopping and getting things ready for our vacation the following weekend. I will hopefully find some new shoesthat I like since we will be walking a lot on our vacation.
Sunday I am going to church and then to my cousin's birthday lunch.
DH is working tonight and tomorrow night, so I'll mow the yard, then relax with trashy reality TV I DVRed and some delicious Strongbow (and probably a dip of some sort since the post the other day made me hungry for dip!) Sunday we may go to the new cajun restaurant in Edmond if it's open. Even if it's bad, it can't possibly be worse than the one in Yukon (I worked at a great cajun restaurant in high school, so I'm really picky about cajun and creole food.)
Doing nothing tonight
Laying around at the pool tomorrow (and going to be fabric for our couch - squeal!)
Caravaning to Dallas with some friends to hit up IKEA and the Nordstrom/Neiman's sales (double squeal)
Tonight - I'm going to take it easy. I'm going to make a photos book of 2009 and start on 2010, make dinner, take a bath and call it good. DH has work to do.
Tomorrow - Farmer's Market, work in the yard, get things for Colton's room and possibly swim (not in the order)
Sunday - no clue
I LOVE the Cajun restaurant in Yukon.
Of course, I've never had any other Cajun food before, but two friends of mine who are both from Louisiana really love it too.
