preserve your dress yet? Or what are you doing with it? Where is it right now? I just realized mine is hanging in our spare bedroom. Umm... I'm thinking I have to do something with it at some point! Oops! Anyone know around how much the whole preserving stuff is?
Re: Did you....
lol it's lying on the lounge chair in our bedroom.... nearly a month later.

At the dry cleaners I used to work at (in Toledo, OH), dress preservation was $150. You'd be amazed how many women never came back to pick theirs up!
I have no clue what I'm going to do with mine... the thing about preservation is that as soon as you open it, like to look at it, show, whatever, all preservation is gone. So, I don't think I'll be going that route. Oh well. I don't think I care if mine turns yellow.
Mine's hanging in the closet. I want to do a TTD but can't justify the cost, but I haven't 100% ruled it out....but I might just have it cleaned.
I heard from a woman who owns a wedding consignment store and sells a lot of wedding dresses that they don't come out of preservation that well -- a lot of them come out with brown spots from not being properly dried before being put in the box, etc. She recommends storing them in an all cotton bag with no metal on the hanger -- it'll let it breathe a little, but keep it from getting dusty or yellow, and you can still look at it. And she sells those bags for $40. Way cheaper than preservation.
