I am hearttbroken

My worst fear came true, and my doggie Boston passed away yesterday. He had bleeding in his abdomen, and there's nothing the vet could do that would give him any quality of life. A small blessing is that I was home from work yesterday, so I was able to call DH and we got a chance to say goodbye together. I am heartbroken, and my DH is taking it especially hard. Please give your furbabies extra love tonight. Rest in peace, Boston. Mommy will always love her Boo-boo bear.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've been hugging my furbabies tighter anyway since I've been away for a week and I'm leaving tomorrow for another week. I miss them! They have been in good hands (my mom and now my aunt is taking care of them). I lost my dog a few years ago and I still think of her often and my poor sister just lost her dog to cancer and he was only 5. We gathered together with her dog on his last day and I'm glad that you guys got to do that as well. A small comfort. Hugs to you and your DH!

I am so sorry to hear about your dog - I cant imagine that day when I have to say goodbye to my Tiki - and I will definitely give him a big hug when I get home from my biz trip tomorrow!

I'm so sorry. I can't even think about losing Gordon. It is amazing how pets become a true part of the family. I never realized how much I could love an animal before getting Gordon. I'll be thinking of you...and hugging my dog extra today.
