Hey Ladies! I know that this is a bit early but I am wondering if any of you ladies would like to join a team for the Race For The Cure on Sept. 26th. I want to do this in memory of my friend and would love it if any of you ladies would join me. If you are interested please let me know. I havent set a team up yet because I want to see about how many people are interested. I wont be doing the actual race because I will probably have TJ with me, so we will be doing the fun walk. I hope some of you ladies will join me for this event!!

I will most def walk it, don't think running is for me at all. Asthma takes over to bad when I try to run. Keep me posted too cause I will def do it.

keep us posted on what happens with this. I do this every year with my family because I have a few aunts and great aunts that are survivors...but we never form a team, we just do it as a family.

I just got my registration in the mail this past week or so. Hopefully I'll be up for running it by then...but right now, I'm only running a 1/2 mile at a time Sad

I've never done it before so I thought doing a team would be cool. I will definetly keep you girls posted. I guess it never really hit me about what a special/important event this is. Kelly was such an inspiration to our small group of close friends that this is hitting us pretty hard. We have already collected money to send flowers to her funeral and whatever is left is going as a donation to her area Breast Cancer group. Each of us is also going to make teams and do the Race that is in our respective towns. Its amazing to see how one person can touch so many lives(even those who you never meet!). I'm going to start looking at different places that may want to donate(my work, DH's work) so if you would like to join my team, feel free to not only ask family and friends to help out towards our "goal"(which I haven't set yet but I think at least/around $100 per teammate sounds reasonable, any thoughts) please do so!! You girls have been wonderful with all of your thoughts and prayers to this family that you never even talked to, and to have you as a part of this team would be so special!!
