We have a nice walk-in closet in our Master bedroom. There are two shelves on the right to hang shirts (upper and lower), and on the left there is a shelf for stuff like pants, dresses, etc. I also have a shelf up high on the back wall.
My question is: when we moved in, we did renovations, and there were huge mirrors in the bathrooms which I took down (we put in mirrored medicine cabinets instead). I put one of those huge mirrors in the back of the walk-in closet, so when you walk in you can see yourself in full length (also helps the closet not look so closed in).
Should I replace the mirror with shelving - like lots of little shelf spots for stuff like shoes, sweaters, etc?
I am split between shelves or the mirror.. the "middle" option is to put a shoe rack on the floor under the mirror.
Also - if it differs from your personal preference - what would you think would be better for resale value of the house?
