Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Missing my lil man already

Boo, I just tried to vote, but I'm glad it's not my computer that's the problem- will try again later! I'm so glad he made top 50!
I've been thinking about ya, and having to go back to work today. I hope the day just flies by and you're back home before you know it.

Today isn't too bad bc my mom is watching him for me. Tomorrow and thursday might be a little harder bc he's going to a sitter and he's not familiar with her.. so i'm a little nervous. and Wed & friday he's with my MIL so that makes me a feel more comfortable.
I'm not going to lie, even though i miss him like crazy i do feel a little relieved that he's not attached at my hip right now. not sure how i will feel the rest of the week lol
I can't imagine leaving a baby with someone else while you go to work, and how it makes the mother feel. I always thought I would be a stay at home mom but then I went and got an engineering degree, and I make more than double what Dave does, so... there goes that dream! And I know my cousin bawled when she dropped her son off at day care the first few times. She even said, though, that you do get used to it.
On the plus side, for those mothers who do work, I keep hearing that it's nice to be around adults daily. (And I hear from friends who are stay at home moms that it is a drawback- you miss adult conversations and stuff like that).
Will keep thinking about you! And I hope Gio does ok tomorrow with someone he doesn't know so well...
