what kind of trouble did you get into this past weekend?
Re: How was your weekend?
Saturday - we went on a hunt for a dog. We came home empty handed, but we will keep looking. We spent the majority of our day checking out different shelters. I was TERRIFIED of one place that had about 6 pitbulls. I know people say they are nice dogs, but they scare me to death! I dont like big dogs. Then we worked on the yard. Somehow I became the one who mows the lawn. I actually enjoy it. Very relaxing to me.
Sunday - bought a couch and laid around. I was soooo exhausted Sunday. I barely could stay awake to watch BB.
Friday night was the baseball game. I was there for the beer tasting, not the game, and I guess it might have been obvious... I was going to try to add an image but I only have it in email and I don't know if it will show up here since nobody would have my password. But I forgot they (the Pittsburgh Pirates) took our picture until Dave cropped one and sent it over email, haha! We definitely had fun.
Saturday we were at Dave's niece's graduation party most of the day. I ended up running around a lot with Dave's friend's kids, who are 3 and 5. They had punching balloons (remember those?) and I had a lot of fun with them.
Sunday we went to church, Dave played drums, then checked out an open house, and went to Lowe's for awhile to get stuff to try to improve our house and hope it gets some attention...

Friday- Just hung out at home and relaxed
Saturday- went to NYC and had a blast with Marissa, Gerrie, and Dex. We walked around Union Square, went out for a yummy lunch, I rode the subway for the first time, and we went to Central park Zoo
Sunday- went to church and had a movie day on the couch with Dave. we also picked out our bedding for the nursery. It is brown and sage with elephants. It is on the JC Penny website. We want to the room neutral since we want to have 2 kids.
I have off on Friday's and I took off Thursday so my weekend started then.
Thursday- Went to the beach to get my little guy!! I missed him so much, so I took the day off to go get him
Friday - Went to lunch with my mom and grandmother and did some shopping
Saturday- I woke up totally feeling like crap, but I promised myself that I would paint the kitchen, bought everything for it, so I had to do it. I normally am a total slacker, and I need to force myself to do things, so I did it. Through sickness and everything. It took ALL Day, but I got it done. Its an amazing Classic Red now. I love it!!
Sunday - The boys and I went crabbing in Jersey. Dont you know I got bit by the first freaking one? That little SOB!! I cried it hurt so bad. it really tore my finger up bad. Chris had to pry it off my finger. Good thing hes really strong, it took all he had. of course it had to be the index finger on my left hand (Im left handed) so writing today is a little sloppy and the tip of my finger is still numb. All in all we got about 4 dozen which is really good to me. We came home cleaned them cooked them and ate them. They were awsome! Then we all promptly fell asleep at 8pm. Getting up at 3am after going to bed at 12am sucks. But I was determined to get the kitchen finished the night before.
I hope you especially enjoyed eating the one that bit you. I know I would have. lol
weekend was good! It was nice to be in my house and getting to do what I wanted as far as packing, cooking, laundry, etc.
Friday night I did some unpacking and some cleaning. More cleaning than unpacking though. DH had been home all week unpacking, which I am so grateful for, but he left trash and boxes everywhere along with food (!!!) so I had to clean up his mess. It looked a TON better after I got done cleaning though.
Saturday was a full day of unpacking and then a grocery store trip. I got all my clothes unpacked and the bathroom all unpacked so that was nice. It was really nice being able to get clothes out of the closet and not just because that's where all the boxes were haha.
Sunday I did nothing. Didn't open a box, nothing. It was nice, hard, but nice. I really needed a day to relax and just hang out with DH in our house. And napping. Glorious napping. I feel so rested for the first time since the move/our trip/getting home and heading right back to work.
