Am so sick of my job. I am clerk at a medical company that orders medical supplies. I order the catalogs for all the custometer and sales reps. Right now we are getting new catlogs in but are yet to be stocked. I order them online. Well i get a call from a sales rep and he wants the new catalogs. For some reason all the reps got catalogs but I can;t order them. Anyways he starts yelling at me because I tell him they are not online yet so I can' order them. He mad me so mad I felt like I would throw up. I usually don't talk to reps. Reps are soo mean here and they get away with treating everyone like sh!t. Every thing is bothering me today.
Any one else have to deal with reps like that at your work? Sick of your job?
Re: I hate my Job
I'm not sick of my job because I don't have a job right now
But I would freak out if someone yelled at me. I'm not good in those situations.
I think we all have moments like this off and on in our jobs. I have agents that transfer calls to me becuase they don't know where to send them and they think I do nothing but sit at my computer and do nothing all day when alas that is not the case at all.
There are others that don't know what I do all day and assume that I can just drop whatever I am doing and jump on whatever they need however some of the things I do are time sensitive but no one knows what I do for each of the people I work for. People are selfish in general and don't think of other people. It sucks that is the way people are but its true. If you have a lot of those people in your office then it is gonna be that way for you a lot. I know it is for me! Its a job. I don't love it i don't hate it but I do it and try to stay positive.
Is it bad that within the first hour of work I called and booked a room for us on friday and saturday night to get away from work and now all I can think about is it being friday and not having to worry about work in 4 days n 4 hours n 5 minutes. Well until its Monday agian
There's one doctor that rounds on our floor that's a complete DB. He'll interrupt the nursing assistants while they're giving the patient a bath, he barges into patient's rooms without knocking, and he treats us nurses like crap if something's not going the way he wants it to. Luckily, it's only one week a month, but still, I never look forward to it. Can't wait till he retires soon! LOL
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.

I'm not happy with mine right now, either. It's a temporary fix, until I find my "home"... I was happiest as a zookeeper and hope to do something like that again. Though, even then, I had days that were bad.
I'm just keeping my eyes open for something else until we can relocate and I can either go back to school or find another animal job that I know I'll be happy at.
This ^^^ Priceless!!! Don't you work on a base?
Sure do!!!!! I'm very out-spoken though, so no one really cares. I'm loud... I'm goofy... I'm super-opinionated.... It's all good.
The feeling is mutual Kel!!!
