Fav brunch foods?

I took some of your advice and we'll be hosting a housewarming brunch.  I'm really excited about this but I'm not sure what all to make.  I've never hosted a brunch before so I need some ideas.  What should I make?  Here's what I'm thinking so far...

-sausage balls (I usually make these as an appetizer and they go quick!)

-some sort of quiche or breakfast casserole

-fresh fruit

-strawberry spinach salad

-maybe some sort of finger sandwiches?

-muffins

-milk, juices, mimosas, bloody mary's

Are these things good? Bad? What am I missing?  Thanks

Re: Fav brunch foods?

  • It looks great!

I'm not sure that you're missing anything, but if you want some more suggestions maybe a bagel station with cream cheese, pepper, and salmon? Cinnamon rolls or danishes?

    ETA: And coffee & tea.

  • I make these tortilla roll ups that always go quick at get togethers if you are interested.  They have cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, olives, pimentoes, and green chilis in it.

  • i think you've got a good base of things for a brunch. what time are you planning on having it?

are the sausage balls the sausage/bisquick things? if not, maybe some sort of bread/biscuit basket to go with the breakfast casserole for those who are leaning towards breakfast?

  • I made Pioneer Woman's Sleepin' in Omelette for a brunch once, only I did it in muffin tins for individual servings people could just grab and eat and they were a huge hit.
