It just keeps getting better...not!

Well, as if last week wasn't bad enough with the loss of hubby's grandpa.  We got another blow of bad news today.  I lost my job.  I was told they are eliminating my position.  Obviously this sucks, but in the long run, I know I will be happy to not be working there.

So, we could use lots of nestie vibes for me to find a new job quickly.

Also, please don't say anything on FB yet.  I haven't even told my family.

  • Oh Julie, that totally sucks...I'm so sorry! It seems like you have a good attitude about it though and hopefully this means that you will find another job that is totally awesome! Good luck!!!

  • I'm sorry fingers crossed you find a job that makes you smile soon!!
  • (((Hugs)))

So sorry to hear this...man, what a tough few weeks you guys have had :-(

Stay strong, and I love your "lemonade out of lemons" attitude! I was let go from my previous job and was out of work for a while, but when I got another job - it was a much better fit than before! So, yes, sometimes, as hard as it is when you're going through them - these things can be a blessing in disguise...sending thoughts and prayers your way...

  • Oh man!  I'm so sorry!  Good luck and I know you will find something great!!!  (with hopefully a huge pay raise!)

  • Ugh, Julie I'm so sorry!  That really sucks but, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, it seems like you have a great attitude about this and will definitely make the most out of a really crappy situation. Many many vibes sent your way for an awesome new job!
  • Awe, I'm so sorry!  I hope you can use this opportunity to find a better job!  I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

  • I'm so sorry Julie! But look at this time as a time to look into yourself and find out what really makes you happy. Turn this into a blessing and not a curse.
  • Julie, I am really sorry!  I agree with PP.  And I will say, that even though everything you are going through is so hard and I can't even imagine it, I do believe in things happen for a reason.  So Keep up the positive attitude, because that is extremely important through tough situations, although so hard to maintain.
