Incredible opportunity!
I got a phone call today from a representative of the Fish and Wildlife Service asking me if I would be able to travel to the Gulf for two weeks to assist with wildlife recovery. If I am able to make it work out with my work schedule I would go down for two weeks and work with a whole variety of agencies rescuing and recovering oiled wildlife.
I am waiting to hear the exact dates but I am so excited for the chance to do it. Cross your fingers I am able to go!

I'm a marine biologist and have spent the past 6 years working with sea turtles (gasp, it's been so long!) I've done a lot of bird work along the way as well so yes
I currently work at a sea turtle research and rehab facility. I'm so spoiled!
