Freshman 15

Anyone else putting on a few since the wedding? I seriously lost my motivation! I've been rehabbing a knee injury, and just can't find the drive to get off my butt. I don't know if it's stress, general lethargy, or what, but I noticed that it's happening to DH too.

Re: Freshman 15

  • Yes, and it sucks.  However, I've been slowly losing it over the past few weeks.

    Matt loves Munkii!!!

  • Ugh yes! I lost a bit of it but then fell off the wagon...I work from 630am-9am then go to class till 1230 and then back to work till 6 so the LAST thing I want to do is work out. Plus it has been so hot I don't want to be outside. I go do yoga once a week but it doesn't do much when all I eat is crap

  • I've actually lost about 20 pounds since the wedding...but I've been doing WW since like last August so technically I should have lost more but I am not very strict about it.

  • Ugh yes.  I lost 12 lbs from last April until the wedding and I've gained half of it back.  I did WW to lose the weight, and I've been trying really hard to keep at it but just don't have the motivation now that I don't have THE DRESS to fit into!
  • Seriously...I'm an avid athlete, but am rehabbing a knee, and instead of 'active recovery', I'm content to sit on the couch with DH. SO not like me!
  • Yes!  I've never really had problems with my weight, but as I get into my late 20's now, I am noticing a little bit more cushin' for the pushin'... DH and I played tennis tonight.  We don't do it very often, but it makes me feel a little better.  Plus, doing it together is nice.  It's much better than working out alone in a gym. :)

  • Yes!  I've actually been better about working out this spring/summer than I was before the wedding, but I've also been eating like crazy.  I'm really trying to curb it, but it's one birthday after another and there's no concrete motivation to have washboard abs when I don't need to fit into the dress anymore.
