Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Update * MIL Visit *
She sent Joe a text last night asking if it was ok for her to come by this morning at 9 to see Lo. I think I surprised her in being here ( I called in to take Lo to the Dr.)
Anyway I came out of the bathroom and was on the phone with the Dr's office so I just waved at her. Took a shower, got me a cup of coffee, then plopped by big ass on the couch - played with my phone for a bit, then turned the tv on.
I had initially told Joe I would go to the gym or something then said to myself F this i'm not being run out of my home.
Anyway we didn't say anything to each other - she bragged and bragged to Joe about his sister ... that she was getting her Associates and wanted to be a Principal.. but they told her she needed 3 years in class experience. Well duh sh|thead you also need your Bachelor's and your Masters!
Anyway as she was leaving I said bye, she said bye and that was it.
Still can't stand the hoe.

Wow, Stellar...your MIL is a piece o' work!
Good for you not letting her run you out...that's your house and your daughter. You shouldn't have to leave for her to be able to see Lo. If she wants to be a part of Lo's life, she can make some sacrifices.
