Selling my wedding dress...maybe.
I had it cleaned and preserved last year and it's been in a box at my grandmother's house ever since - I haven't even looked at it twice since the wedding. I posted it on Craiglist last night and someone emailed me about it tonight. Every rational part of me is saying that selling it would be a good thing. I'm never going to put it on again and I wouldn't expect my hypothetical daughter to wear it. I have dozens of pictures of me in the dress and even the dress by itself. There's just this teeny tiny nagging voice that's saying that I'll regret selling it. Truthfully, I don't think anyone will actually buy it for what I'm asking so it may be a moot point.
Re: Selling my wedding dress...maybe.
Mine still hasn't been cleaned...
Do you think you may have another use for it (aside from it sitting in a box)? Like, I'm actually interested in seeing if we could cut up the fabric from mine and turn it into a quilt or something (either a big quilt for me & DH or, if it's still hanging lamely in the closet years from now, baby quilts for our hypothetical future children).
I think you may experience seller's remorse for a while, but I think it will quickly fade as other things come along.
Also in the not cleaned camp.
I'd have mixed feelings for sure if I was in your position. I thought I'd sell mine, but even if it was cleaned, I don't know if I could go through with it. I could even get more money than what I paid.
But if you can get a good chunk of money, you can always wipe the tears away with some dollar bills.

Mine hasn't been cleaned either. I don't even know where it is, honestly.

I hate you for having a wonderful new mattress (well...not really...just a teeny bit) . I'm sick of sleeping like crap and waking up in pain due to our horrible set.
Aww. Does it make it better than our old set was purchased six years at a USED MATTRESS STORE? Granted it was in decent shape (an old Serta Perfect Sleeper) and had no dips or impressions, but the box spring was deteriorating so bad around the edges it kept falling INTO the middle of the frame.

I'm in the "haven't cleaned it yet" club. It's at my mom's house somewhere, I actually haven't seen it at all since the wedding day.
As much as I'd love the extra cash, I don't think I could bring myself to sell it.
