What gets you pumped up???
I found a mixed CD that I had made my freshman year in college and was totally jamming out on my way to work this morning. The CD consisted of Vanilla Ice, Right Said Fred, Pennywise, NOFX, New Kids on the Block, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, The Proclaimers, Phish, Milli Vanilli!!! It was AWESOME and totally random!!! I'm sure people thought I was a crackhead dancing in my car, but I don't give a damn.

I LOVE finding old mixes! Though I have to admit that most of my mixes are still my favorite songs from the 90s....
Certain Smiths songs always get me pumped, MGMT, Salt n Peppa, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, The Cure, and old No Doubt...
When I'm jogging though, it's all about the old hip hop : )
I'm carrying around a lot of undirected rage the last few days, so I've been blasting my Nickelback on my way to work.
If we're talking nostalgic feel-good music, I have a SheDAiSY album that gets me psyched up.
The Dixie Chicks' first couple of CDs do the trick, too. And the Charlie Daniels Band.
the one I found was Waste of Mind.... I haven't listened to it in YEARS!!!
I am pretty sure that this exact mix would pump me up to no end. I would also add a bit of Salt N Pepa, TLC, Black Eyed Peas, and old school Britney (think I'm a slave for you...)...umm, "Dirty" by Christina, some Gaga, anything by Queen (esp Fat Bottomed Girls, it's kind of my anthem, and Bohemian Rhapsody). I would also add in some "Full House Theme Song" along with the Family Matters theme song. Ooooh how much room do I have on this hypothetical mix cd? Because I would also want to add some old school like Sir Mix a Lot...god there is a lot that pumps me up...anything that is upbeat!!
#1 on my list is Ms. New Booty by Bubba Sparx. H wouldn't let me put it on the must play list for the wedding. **side eye** Almost anything by Usher does the trick. Some older songs that pump me up are Mmm Bop by Hansen (yeah I know, what's wrong with me?) and I'm Real by Jennifer Lopez.
College Park, Bubba Sparks!!! Love that song! I absolutely HATE J-Lo and all of her songs make me go into a Godzilla-like rampage. Speaking of Rampage... that game was awesome.
