I love me an excuse to buy more clothes.
Anyone have other good recs for office wardrobe staples?

I love that grey skirt! Cute choices!
Maybe invest in a good pair of black slacks - and black pumps. Very simple - but can go with a lot of things. I like Express's Editor pants for work - come in a variety of colors, black included.
Ps. Looks like your blog double posted.
I noticed the double post while you were replying. Ha. I think I fixed it though.
I've heard a lot about these Editor pants! I'll have to remember to stop at an Express when I'm out of town again.
I have the black pants from my interview suit, and I also purchased a pair of brown-ish khaki flares from ON over the weekend. I think I'll need some shoes and some dressier tops.

My interview blazer and pants are Worthington actually! I just wish some of their tops weren't cut so boxy. :-/

I second the Express Editors. I also love the Express stretch bra camis. They are fantastic for layering under tees, jackets, sweaters... nice for making anything low cut more work appropriate. I think I have at least 5 different colors.
Yeh, I have a hard time finding shirts sometimes. I end up trying on a ton but only finding a couple I like. I really like their camis, though. They are a nicer material than my casual ones. And since I wear them under everything, I try to stock up when they are on sale. You can get them for buy one get one free a lot of the time.

I love the Lands End stuff you ordered - that skirt is adorable and I want that dress.
I too am a fan of the Editor pant - I think all but 2 pairs of my work pants are Editors. The other 2 are from college when I worked at the Limited. They used to have good stuff but I havent shopped there in a long time as I would then have to venture into the mall instead of my little outdoor shopping center and I hate the mall.
For shirts - I picked up a couple different colors of the Perfect Cardigan from the Gap I think this spring that I absolutely love and wear all the time. I pretty much rely on cardigans/sweaters all winter. In the summer I stretch the limits of business casual and wear tshirts - solid color fitted tshirt plus black pants is safe in my office if I put on a little jewelry and dont wear flip flops. I hate almost all button down shirts becuase the buttons always seem to pull over my chest so I have a few but mostly only wear them under sweaters or jackets.
My work wardrobe is completely sad - I hate buying clothes for work and make zero effort. I should really do better, but I'm pretty sure that the maternity section isnt going to give me a ton of options.

steph, I think so. But keep an eye out. I think they do the free ship offer regularly.
Editor pant girls - which kind do you like? There are several on their website.

I have both but I like the wide waistband best... http://www.express.com/studio-stretch-wide-waistband-editor-pant-28563-606.pro?Mppg=0&Mcatpn=category&Mpper=3&Mcatg=cat_2&Mcatp=cat_28&Mcat=606&Mpos=2&Mcatn=Pants&Mpg=SEARCH%2BNAV&user_att_name=Interest&user_att_value=Email&Mrsaa=*&Mrsavf=*

I have very mixed feelings about the Editor pant, but a lot of them may stem from the fact that I worked at Express and had to sell them like I was their pimp, so...
I will say I love Gap Curvy-fit work pants. I have a pair in gray plaid that I've almost worn thin I love them so much. If you've got a lot of hip-age going on (like I do), they're great. And they last forever (and that's coming from a girl who ignores pretty much every label and just throws all her sh*t in the washer/dryer on the same cycle...I'm bad, I know...)
Do you have a New York & Company near you? They have a lot of good staple pieces and are usually priced a lot lower than similar stores (Express, Gap). But I will say their clothes are hit and miss. Sometimes I'll go and walk out with so many bags my arms hurt, and other times I'll go and turn around three steps in muttering "Oh God, what were they THINKING?"
I wear these from Old Navy.
