Hair Dryer Rec?

So my hair dryer finally kicked the bucket so I need a new one. Nothing too fancy, something that'll get the job done. I have short hair and I like to straighten it and it's really thick. Anyone have any good reccommendations?

Re: Hair Dryer Rec?

  • Woah....can you believe I don't even remember the last time I purchased a hair dryer? I think con-air is always reliable (thats what I have) but the model # won't help since mine was around at the time of the civil war i think.
  • I have this one...

I bought it a few years ago and love it. Got the same one for my mom and she loves it too. Although, I have longish, thick wavy hair that I blow out straight, so it may be more than you need.

The big thing with me is that the dryer has to have at least 1875 watts. Anything less, and I am drying my hair forever.

  • Mine is like 100000 years old so I don't really know what it is, but make sure you get an ION dryer (ion protection, has ion in it? IDK but it will say ion on the dryer!). For all I know, every hair dryer has this now, but if you have the choice definitely get it -- makes your hair shinier and smoother!
