How to keep pitchers cold?
I want to put out a pitcher of sangria but I don't want to water it down with ice. Is there some type of pitcher chiller?
Re: How to keep pitchers cold?
I have seen people put tubes of ice (they are selfcontained) and i have also seen a pitcher at BB&B that have a tube that you freeze.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
or you can pour some of the sangia into the ice cube trays and freeze them.. that way when it melts, it's just the sangria in the drink and not water... or put some ice in a huge bowl or tray and sit the pitchers on top of the ice

Something like this from BB&B?
Definitely this. It takes some pre-planning but it will be worth it. This is the concept I use to make iced coffee on summer mornings and it works every time.

or freeze the fruit you're putting in it. When we do last minute sangria we like to toss in frozen berries and peaches.
Ditto this...and it looks really cute if you freeze berries and fruit in the ice cubes.
we always freeze fruit to garnish our sangria. in addition to freezing cubes of oj or other sangria ingredient, i would freeze fruit. or like pp said, fruit in ice cubes.
larger chunks of ice stay frozen longer, so might find a tall narrow tupperware container that will fit in your pitcher, and freeze it full of juice and fruit.
last time we put the fruit on skewars and froze them but the skewars were too long for the cups, only half of the fruit was immersed so if we do it again we will cut the skewars in half.
