Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Blogs, and my undertaking..
Okay, I worked on the blogs a little last night, they look better. I'm sooo blog retarded. I'm really enjoying blogging about food and with my new camera, i'm digging the pictures i'm getting to take too! I'm always open to feedback...so feel free to tear my blog apart.
And on another note, i'm going to start blogging about this, but I wanted to let you guys in on a little thing that i'm going to take on planning...
An Open House/Housewarming party.. we had tossed around the idea of doing Thanksgiving, but that would have just been DH's family.. not so into it, I wanted to have a PARTY. So, I came up with the idea of having an Open House/Housewarming party the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
We are going to invite EVERYONE we know, friends, family, co-workers etc. I don't think we'll have a lot of people since we live so far away, but who knows.
It's a big undertaking for several reasons... our house is nowhere near the point where I would like it for this to happen, so it pushes me to really renovate and get organized.
It is also going to be the first time (aside from the wedding) that i've entertained for a large group of people at my own house.
So..i'm planning to include and incorporate a lot of the planning into my blog 
.

Your blog is looking great! So far, I like your title a lot and I like how the background looks like butcher block. Perfect for a cooking blog.
Also, I look forward to seeing your plans for the housewarming party! I love party planning as well, especially around the holidays. You should totally do a hot chocolate station!!
