Ours went up ~$100 to $257!!! Holy freaking cow!! DH is having a fit. Of course, it was the hottest month ever. We don't even keep the house that cold, it's on 76!!

Our electric bill went up $14. Then again we're in a 1BR/BA apartment and we only turn the air on at night before we go to sleep (sometimes when we get home at night if it's been a really hot day). We have the thermostat set cool at 73.

Ours was around $190, which is typical for summertime for us. It went up probably about $20 from the previous month.

Mine was $163, but that was for six weeks, and I keep my house around 69/70 at night, around 80 during the day.

Our was about $225 last month, which is pretty typical June-August. We won't see it go down much until September. This is with a 2 year old AC unit and a house that is zoned.

Ours is just over $200. We keep the house at 80 and have ceiling fans in all the rooms. New windows, siding & insulation are the first thing we are going to replace as soon as we can. You can see the curtains gently wafting when it is very windy outside. Indifferent

$223 up from $103 last month. We keep the upstairs on 80 until we go to bed then we put it on 75. The downstairs is on 77 during the day so Roxey doesn't get too hot. I usually turn it down to 75 when I get home and we turn it up to 80 when we go to bed.

Ours was well over $300, maybe $360, I don't remember. DH likes to keep the house cold and even sweats at night when I'm freezing. We do budget-billing, so our bill is usually the same for 12 months. For some reason, they readjusted our bill from $168 to $181 starting next month. I'm sure the RM doesn't help for our higher bills this year.

Mine was right at $200. It went up from $125 the month before. I have my air set on 82 during the day while I am at work, and then 77 when I am home nights/weekends.

Ours went up $150 between May to June. I'm waiting for Julys bill. DH's brother moved into our extra room in the basement and he is only 21 - doesn't shut anything off when he leaves, including air. We had a nice conversation about that one.

I keep my upstairs AC set to 70 all the time. sometime I turn it to 68. I am sure if I didn't do this my bill would be lower however my bedroom has very high ceilings ( very overrated feature) so keeping it cool is sometimes a challenge.

Ours went from $90 to $190!! I even called GA Power because I couldn't believe it. They said this is typical for the summer months. We have two brand new AC units in our 20 year old house and keep it set for 78 while we're at work and then 75 nights and weekends. Good to know we're not the only ones who were shocked when we opened our July bill!
