As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Morning! I'm teaching summer school in the morning, then lunch with a friend, then I think it's time to log some hours at the pool.Oh and one more exciting thing-DH and I put in an app to adopt a puppy yesterday! So I'm hoping we hear back soon!
What are everyone else's plans for the day?

I have a morning full of meetings. I hope to get caught up on some work this afternoon. But then we are having a baby shower for my new boss! I'm hosting along with another girl I work with. My boss loves queso dip, so I brought in a crock-pot of it for her. Can't wait to surprise her.
Tonight I'm relaxing and probably watching a movie.
How exciting about the puppy! What kind of dog is he/she? Do you have any pics?
good morning! Do you have a specific puppy in mind or do you still have to pick? That's so exciting, you have to post a pic when you get it.
Today is DH's birthday, but he's going to be busy w/ a work dinner so it doesn't look like we'll really be able to celebrate. I surprised him w/ Dunkin Donuts this morning, though, and I'll bake him a cake tonight. We might get together for lunch if his workload cooperates.
Well so far we've just put in the application so we don't have her yet-but I'll post a pic as soon as I do. She's a yellow lab and her profile says she's had just a really tough start to life and her story was definitely touching. I'm hoping to hear back from them soon!
