1. How much is your usual electricity bill in the summer? Gas bill in the winter? About $225 in the summer, about $40 in the winter. Gas is about $35 in the summer, $150-200 in the winter.
2. What temps do you keep your house at in the summer? In the winter? We have a programmable thermostat. Summer: 80 during the day, 76 around 6 pm, 73 at bedtime. Winter: 65 during the day, 69-70 at night.
3. How much do you pay for trash pick up? Is it the city, county, or a private company? I think it's $22/month for trash and recycling from the city of Smyrna.
4. How much is your water bill? $30-60/month depending on if we have to water the lawn.
5. How big is your house, so that we have something to compare it to other bills with? 4 BR, 2.5 bath split level, about 2400 sq. feet

1. How much is your usual electricity bill in the summer? Gas bill in the winter? Summer Electrical is $200+, Summer Electric is $50ish. Winter Gas is $100+ Summer Gas is $30ish
2. What temps do you keep your house at in the summer? Summer temps are 80, with ceiling fans. Winter temps are about 74-72. I hate to be cold.
3. How much do you pay for trash pick up? 0. DH refuses to pay, so he takes it to his work dumpster.

*Just this morning, I called and got GA Gas to change rate to the .699/therm with service charge of 5.99/month because of a scana mailer I'd received. Big difference from the 1.049 we're currently paying!

Two floors + finished basement (no thermostat there though), two heat & a/c units (one main, one upstairs). 4 br/2.5ba + 1-2br/1ba in the basement. I don't know the exact sq. ft. since the basement was finished after DH bought the house and all that was long before I came along. He doesn't even know!
