She's talking up a storm - she up to about 25 words, which I guess is pretty darn good for a 17 month old! She comprehends a lot - she scares me how smart she is because she's going to be a handful. She's a petite little thing - about 18 lbs and wearing 12 month clothes, but she makes up for it with her attitude.
I haven't been sewing much lately but I have been hoarding fabric and yarn, LOL. I have plans to sew some stuff for myself and to sew some NB cloth diapers for when we eventually get around to TTC #2 which will probably be next year.
New with me - going "back to school" this fall - starting an online graduate certificate program that will complement my master's degree. Other than that, I'm just working and playing with Katie. She's been helping me tend my garden - we're growing some vegetables in the backyard.
I'm probably going to get braces this fall - I'm going to suck up the nerdiness of it all and just go for it. I hate my teeth and want them to be straight. I am not a candidate for invisalign so I have to get wire braces. Anyone else an adult with braces? I've been consulting with orthodontists just to get prices so far... one more consultation next week, then I'll decide where I'm going to go!
yeah, Tiff, I totally got your text last week and I haven't responded because I suck. Last Friday I had lunch with an old friend from grad school and we sat and talked until like 3 which was when I saw your text. I had also gotten together in the morning with a couple of the cincy girls so Katie was just completely wiped out.
But we DO have to get together soon. Tomorrow I have my company picnic, which is going to be hella fun since it's supposed to be 95 with a heat advisory. Hooray. I'll be staying for about 15 minutes since it's my day off LOL.
