Excuse my absence this weekend!!
I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go to Mississippi (well, it's tecnically in AL, but it's literally a mile from the Mississippi border) for a family reunion this weekend! I'm super-excited! There is absolutely NO technology down there. We call it campmeeting... Tin roof, (rusted!! haha), sawdust floors, no AC, no tv, no phones, no cell phone service either..... The little cabin things we stay in are called "tents". My mom's entire side of the family goes down there. You basically go down there and do nothing all weekend (well, it actually lasts all week, but we're only going for the first weekend). It's also a churchy thing. They have three church services a day (which I usually decide that is my convenient time to take a nap, no offense anyone!!) It's so awesome to just relax and do nothing. My little cousin's wedding is also on Saturday, so I'm excited for her!!
